Not everyone needs to log time, right?

Recently we've released User Access Control. It's one of our latest cool features we've released.

Another release again? Yes, we're on fire 🔥. We've listened to you and speeded up our pace to make time tracking in monday.com even more intuitive.

What is User Access Control?

User Access Control is a new feature added that allows admins to manage which user has access to Tracket per person, by team or role. Clean, clear, and totally up to you.

Why is this interesting for me?

This is helpful for organizations where a lot of users are in a monday.com account, but not all of them are required to use Tracket. Admin can deny access for these users. Also smaller organizations will have the benefit of an overview of Tracket users and their roles at a glance and can easily deny or grant access to persons or groups.

By making access more selective, organizations of all sizes can reduce clutter, improve data security, and ensure that only the right people are working in Tracket.

How does Tracket User Access Control work?

User Access Control has never been this easy.

  • Open the Tracket settings
In your monday.com account, go to Tracket and open the Access & Permissions section in the settings.
  • Activate user-level access and view the access table
Switch to “Selected users have access” to enable the feature. You’ll now see a table with all users in your monday.com account, including their teams and roles.
  • Toggle access on or off per user
Use the toggle next to each user to allow or remove access individually.
  • Use checkboxes for bulk selection
Select multiple users using the checkboxes, then use the bulk action bar to allow or remove access in one go.

  • Filter by monday.com role
Use the filter at the top to quickly find users based on their role.
  • Manage access by team
Click on a team in the left-hand column to select its members, then use the bulk action bar to adjust their access.
  • Use the bulk access buttons for teams
Want to allow or remove access for several teams at once? Use the bulk access buttons above the table for quick actions.
  • Save your changes
Don’t forget to hit Save to apply your updated access settings.
